COVID-19 - Coronavirus Health Alert
The threat level of COVID-19 in Victoria is escalated. For the safety of our patients and staff, we encourage telephone appointments (where possible).
If a face-to-face appointment is required, it will be time-limited, and we request that all patients wear a face mask while in the clinic.
We also observe social distancing >1.5m and limit the number of patients in our waiting room.
If you have symptoms of the flu, a cold, or a loss of sense of smell or taste, then a COVID-19 test is necessary. Please refer to the Victorian Health website for a list of COVID-19 clinics and testing centres.
If you are unwell and have respiratory symptoms, please ask for a telephone appointment with a GP, and a safe review will be arranged. Please be assured that our clinic is COVID-19 safe.
Current eligibility for COVID-19 vaccination
Patients over the age of 12 are eligible to receive the Pfizer vaccine
Patients over the age of 18 have the option to receive the AstraZeneca vaccine if they understand the risks. (Talk to your GP to discuss further)
Individuals who have had one dose of AstraZeneca without any serious adverse effects should have the second dose of AstraZeneca to gain full protection. They should NOT attempt to receive an mRNA (Pfizer or Moderna) vaccine for their second dose.
*If you are not sure of your eligibility or have any concerns regarding Covid-19 Vaccination, please book an appointment with one of our GPs.
